The entrance, resembling a padippura, features jallis on both sides. Moreover, it encapsulates the home’s character and blends traditional aesthetics with modern functionality. The outer wall cladding uses natural stones, adding to the home’s earthy charm.
Inside, the designers employ the floating concept throughout to enhance a sense of enthusiasm and lightness. Thus, the living spaces are both vibrant and welcoming.
As you step in, a beautiful landscape unfolds in the front yard, meticulously designed to blend nature with aesthetics. A large gathering space, surrounded by a landscaped garden, serves as an informal living area, perfect for family gatherings and relaxation.
The use of earthen hues throughout the home adds warmth and a sense of connection to nature, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. The home features a traditional door with a modern texture, bridging the past and the present seamlessly.
The formal living space, equipped with a bay window facing the courtyard, includes swings and sofas to accommodate more people comfortably.
Louvre windows and cross ventilation ensure a cool environment throughout the house. Moroccan series tiles enhance the ambience, adding a touch of exotic elegance to the overall design.
A Buddha statue with a koi pond near the living room brings a sense of tranquility and serenity. The jali work pattern on the walls creates beautiful light and shadow effects during early mornings, enhancing the home’s aesthetic appeal and spiritual atmosphere.
The open dining area, situated at the end of the living room and featuring a double-height ceiling that adds grandeur and openness, is subtly divided by an elegant open showcase.
An open courtyard near the dining area connects the two master bedrooms of the house, conveying a sense of togetherness.
Swirling cubic stones in the courtyard merge to a central point, symbolising unity and the harmonious blending of family members’ lives within this thoughtfully designed home.
A textured grey wall is at one end of the living room. Mounted upon it is a colourful artwork, a vibrant testament to the cherished bonds of brotherhood, infusing the room with warmth and positivity.
Three cozy bedrooms are on the ground floor. Each bedroom boasts bay windows that overlook the serene courtyard, inviting natural light to flood in and create a tranquil ambience.
Ascending the staircase, the first floor has a study area that exudes productivity and focus, setting the tone for inspired work or quiet contemplation, and a spacious bedroom for ultimate relaxation and privacy.
Beyond lies a sprawling open sitting space, perfect for hosting gatherings and fostering lively conversations under the open sky.
In this home, every corner is thoughtfully designed to harmonize functionality with style, offering a sanctuary where comfort meets creativity and connections flourish.
