The choice of kota stone for flooring imbues the house with an earthy feel, grounding the space in natural warmth. The tactile and visually appealing qualities of kota stone contribute to the overall aesthetic, creating an inviting atmosphere.
The ground floor unfolds as a journey through elegance and functionality. The living area, with its extended portion boasting double-height ceiling, serves as the heart of the home.
A seamless flow leads to the dining space and a well-equipped kitchen, creating a space that is both inviting and practical. The inclusion of a lift ensures easy access to every corner of this thoughtfully designed abode.
The ground floor also hosts a guest bedroom and a master bedroom, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style.
The exterior of the house is painted in a warm “kaav” color, setting the tone for a welcoming atmosphere. However, the most striking contrast can be found in the staircase area.
The staircase railing is painted in a vibrant red hue, which beautifully complements the royal blue shade adorning the wall behind it. This bold choice of colors adds a dash of creativity and personality to the home’s interior.
Small punctures in the staircase wall, sealed with terracotta tiles, add a touch of intricate detailing, enhancing the artistic character of the home.
Ascending to the first floor, a family room awaits, offering a bird’s-eye view of the living room below.
This vantage point creates a dynamic connection between the various living spaces, fostering a sense of unity and openness.
The first floor also houses another master bedroom and a guest bedroom, providing private sanctuaries for the inhabitants.
A charming terrace beckons beyond, promising moments of tranquility and breathtaking views. The terrace is a haven of relaxation, featuring a carefully crafted sitting area adorned with a pergola of terracotta tiles. The interplay of shadows on the terrace, changing with the cadence of the day, creates a mesmerizing dance of light and dark.
A circular cutout on the terrace above it unveils a beautiful courtyard, complete with a majestic “Parijat” [Nyctanthes arbor tristis] and pebble accents—a delightful connection to nature.
