The design theme for the architectural project harmoniously blends colonial influences with a dash of tropical modernism creating a captivating and innovative fusion. We planned to create spaces that the family could enjoy scenic vistas from. Contributing to varying degrees reflecting a known quality. Midcentury interior with wooden elements.
This Architectural project inherits naturally rich design | Nufail Shabana Architects
To achieve this we have created joyful spaces through patterns, prints and colors. Many European and modern styles work around a focal point. Neutral color palette and clean lines and simplicity. Earthy tones, with rich browns and grey color. Custom designed pieces of furniture to create an exacting look and style.
From the tan sofa unit in the living room to the table in the dining, to the cabinetry to the bookshelf .we believe in creating site specific designs to ensure uniqueness thereby introducing a bespoke nature to each space.
Complementing these elements are the unique and bespoke furniture pieces. As you span your vision across the foyer entry and living the varying textures from the cement floor to the glass and cane partition. in very English colors are very noticeable. This scheme stands in coordination with the lush green of the outside spanning across the enormous windows. Printed tiles and Borrowed details from popular aesthetics grand as modernism and art décor.
The Villa interior contributes to a Farm house and Japandanian Style and minimalism unique .Future thinking look layering of different accent pairing against a modern shell adapted over time. Through clear.
Juxtaposition and layering of different touches of grey and beige contribute to well-being and emotional comfort.
The staircase is one of the most beautiful feature in interior. The stair core placed next to the family living clearly creates a visual demarcation of spaces. The mezzanine space provided above the family creates a cozy study space that goes well with the theme of European interior.
The deck area is placed in a central portion to have a complete view to the spaces inside. Most of the trees have been retained.
The ground floor includes a living room and 3 beds. The family living space with a mezzanine floor study and an abutting courtyard along side. The open pantry overlooking the dining area and the extended deck space creates a semi openness in the plan.
The Pantry, Kitchen and work area space have been placed to the rear side connecting to the open terrace behind the house .
The first floor is designed for a bed space and a gym area. The rear terrace area is converted into a gathering space, a play area with a coffee space. In this project the choice of materials was specially selected involving a combination of hand crafted materials, raw materials and hard lined details which together added depth to the design.
The unique height of ceiling and windows were a celebration of space. Lot of wood and fabrics were used to maintain an intimate vibrancy of a home. Use of raw materials for summing the spatial essence of spaces, creating a design that stimulates our senses celebrating form and structure in their most sincere condition.
Every bed was designed with a varied theme to suit the design style from poster beds to wooden cots with high wood backrests.
Drawing from the rich tapestry of diverse cultures the design concept encapsulates the essence of colonial traditions whole infusing it with the vibrancy and lushness of tropics. Concurrently the introduction of contemporary lines ,sleek geometries, and sustainable tropical elements such as ample greenery and open spaces infuse a refreshing sense of modernity. This theme not only respects the past but also propels us into future offering uniquely inviting and environmentally conscious architectural space that embraces the beauty of both tradition and innovation The result is a succession of spacious and light filled living areas at ground level.
