Editor’s Note: The first impression of this corporate office space is that of an expansive and plush working environment. The combination of veneer and marble touches the epitome of sophistication. It only pairs well with the lighting fixtures and decor selections. ~ Nishal Sevak(Co-Editor)
The interior of office design not only reflects the brand’s corporate identity but also sets the tone for the overall atmosphere in the workplace. In order to create a luxurious corporate office interior, careful consideration was given to every aspect of the design. This included the selection of high-quality materials and finishes, the use of opulent lighting fixtures, and the incorporation of luxurious furniture pieces. The client desired a space that exudes sophistication and elegance, while maintaining functionality and efficiency. Understanding the nature of the client’s business, work practices, and corporate culture was crucial in designing a suitable interior for their office.

Additionally, the layout of the office space played a significant role in creating a luxurious atmosphere. The arrangement and placement of furniture were carefully considered to maximize comfort and create a sense of grandeur. Incorporating elements such as spacious workstations, comfortable seating areas, and well-designed meeting rooms helped to create a luxurious and functional workspace. Furthermore, the incorporation of visual design systems, such as branding elements and cohesive color schemes, played a crucial role in expressing the client’s corporate identity.
The brief received from the client was crisp- it had to be luxurious. While designing the layout, the peripheral columns were incorporated seamlessly, but one column in the reception area was right in the centre of the space. We embraced it as a backdrop and added a stepped pedestal for art installation which will serve as a focal point upon entering.
The materials were chosen carefully in the shades of beiges and browns to exude warmth and richness- while being modern and sleek at the same time. Furniture follows the same color palette and design language. The marbles and veneers were chosen so as not to be in a stark contrast with each other so that everything seems harmonious.
The reception leads to the VIP lounge and the library, which acts as a buffer before entering into any of the main cabins. This also acts as a spill out from the cabins- the same color and material palette gets carried forward from the reception to the library to the main cabins. Another layer of luxury gets added by the use of cnc cut Italian marbles and rose gold strip inlay.
The three main cabins have an angular geometry- the straight fixed furniture is placed as far as possible from the acute corners; the corners have more casual loose furniture which can be moved around as and when required. The corners actually facilitate having a sense of coziness while pondering over a cup of coffee.
The spaces which would need to be accessed by the potential customers were categorically designed to open directly into the reception area for the ease of access, while the spaces designed exclusively for the back of house staff opened into a passage which acts as a pause point before entering the reception area.
These areas were kept more functional in terms of material selection by using laminate-for ease of maintenance and value engineering
