The design focuses primarily on creating an open and active living atmosphere where the young family can grow into and flourish. Capitalizing on the pleasant climate that Bangalore has to offer, the design get its open and porous nature.

The view from the abutting structures which are in very close proximity to the site have been barricaded by the help of jali wall on the periphery of the site.

The focal point of the Residence is the garden, which unites all the spaces. The common areas open up to the exterior landscape that has been carved out of the building mass creating a connection between the spaces.

The living rooms open up to the garden space, making this a perfect space for a large gathering. The open plan dissolves the barriers between the common spaces utilizing the scenic beauty and also benefit from more natural light and ventilation created by the court outside.

The ground floor houses the formal, informal living dry kitchen, wet kitchen, dining area and the Parents bed room. One flight up we arrive at the family / study, Master bedroom replicating the ground floor parents room and the two children rooms.

The next flight up we arrive at the lounge, bar, media room and the decked terrace looking towards the street. The below ground level houses the parking, jacuzzi, spa and other utilities.

The double height wall in the living room has been treated with moon finish Brooklyn marble expanding from the floor to the ceiling in a book match pattern along with suede leather panels on the sides with SS Gold profile inlay which creates an accent wall in the living space.

An aesthetic contrast between the flooring white spider marble and the accent wall can be seen. The double height floor to ceiling window with the velvet curtains and the brown  leather sofa adds to aesthetics of the space. The 6ft long crystal chandelier acts as the centre of attraction.

The dry kitchen cabinet has a dark grey mat lacquer finish of the outer carcass gives a sophisticated yet a stylish look to the space. The linear kitchen island housing the hob is made up of white quartz stone creates a flow from the flooring to the counter top. A flow of the white marble can be seen through the island unit as well which is composed of white quartz stone.

All bedrooms feature hardwood floors, leather, fabrics and natural wood veneer finishes. The master bedroom specially feature marble wall panelling with gold accent with a combination of leather, natural wood veneer, SS gold accents and solid natural wood flooring.

The second-floor home bar creates a dramatic appeal created by the natural veneer with a dark matte finish and the LED profile light concealed inside the SS gold profile in the ceiling, in addition to the back-lit onyx bar panels used to decorate the bar counter and the wall display unit also help set the mood for the space.

Dark colours in the 12-seater home theatre add to the ambience of the room. By using solely brown hues, the area appears monochromatic, which enhances the colours on the screen and minimizes reflection.

The basement level having the jacuzzi and spa is secluded from the outside for privacy. Skylight placed in the setback of the Residence brings in natural lighting.

Aluminium baffles with wooden finish has been suspended from the ceiling to cover the utilities in the ceiling.

Solid dark Wooden planks, since it is non-skid, has been utilised around the jacuzzi. Both the natural finishes add to the premium feel to the space.

The structure has a well defined use of balanced geometrical forms. The straight lines of the building block stay in incongruous contrast to the landscape of the neighbourhood.

Neutral colours such as taupe, cream, sand, brown etc. can be seen being used in the interiors with the amalgamation of shiny gold profiles in the ceiling and walls gives a minimal yet luxurious feel to the space.
