“Nothing ages more quickly than ‘newness’. But a design that’s a marriage between the past and the present is truly timeless.” This 4BHK modern home “Brigade Exotica” in Bangalore fulfills the above statement with two fascinating interior themes, classic victorian and industrial, elegantly married to show off opulence and nostalgia. The color palette of the home is a striking combo of white and dusty pastels that create a subtle yet enchanting aura.

The foyer is grand and instantly makes the visitor feel at home. It greets with a poppy painting, a huge mirror with alternating wooden paneling, a white chest of drawers that acts as storage, and a small seating space right at the entrance.
Both spaces have stylish low-lying wooden coffee tables, rich brown chesterfields, and matching carpets and cushions. The dusty blue wall makes a statement with wooden paneling.
The home’s open layout lets the design flow effortlessly between spaces. This home has two seating spaces; a drawing area to welcome guests and a living area to cozy up for a TV session.
Adjacent to the drawing area is the dining space, filled with classy floral patterns and white furniture with a touch of brown. Towards the other end of the living area is the mini bar with a brick wall and dusty blue storage cabinets with a wooden slab as the counter.
The entire space, from the drawing to the living to the dining has a wooden planked ceiling edging towards the industrial theme.
A definitive victorian dining area with classy floral patterns and white furniture with a touch of brown
The lighting of the entire house is also a mix of both industrial pendant lights with metal finishes and victorian chandeliers.
The kitchen has a pleasant color combo of white and powder grey for the cabinets with a matte finish. This island kitchen has statement ceramic patterned tiles for the floor and the breakfast counter is added to the prep island.
The four bedrooms are unique in their own way. The master bedroom has a poster bed and mauve pink wallpaper and curtains with a walk-in closest.
This home greets warmly with large gathering spaces and bespoke personal spaces. On the whole, this house is a marvel of muted colors and wooden hues that are soothing to your eyes and soul.
The guest bedroom is kept simple with pastel pink wallpaper and a classy white wardrobe.
The boy’s bedroom is simple with plain white walls and a poppy dusty green wardrobe.
The girl’s bedroom is cozy with a cushioned headboard, panel grooves for the wall, and a chalkboard on the wardrobe.
